Waiting for Punishment

The drawing above shows two girls waiting their turns for judicial corporal punishment as a third girl is secured to the whipping post, nude except for her stockings.  But they will not be whipped, they will be caned.  We presume there is some historical accuracy to this and that women were caned in that position rather than being bent over.  The other drawing shows this in more detail, the instrument there being a birch rather than the fearsome canes just visible in the first picture.

The theme of a girl waiting for punishment while another receives it is a thrilling one but real life examples are rare.  One that comes to mind is the Texas prison strap in Victimized I by Mood Pictures, a girl watches her friend get fifty strokes before being bent over for the same herself.
